I haven't posted anything in a while. All in all things are pretty groovy. Speaking of groovy, I just came across this kid shredding some Led Zepplin and I had to share :)

The Year Of Living Biblically
This is a great talk by AJ Jacobs taken from a 2007 TED (Technology, Entertainment & Design) Conference. He is a writer for Vanity Fair who likes to completely immerse himself in his work, essentially making himself a human guinea pig for his story. For this project he spent an entire year following the rules of the bible as literally as possible. Humorous and eye opening, it's worth the approximately 15 minutes.

"A California Thing"
Thank goodness we have the next generation to come up with out-of-the-box solutions to our world's problems. Where would we be if these forward thinkers were too shy to stand up in front of their community and express their obviously long thought out answers? These are the type of Americans that make YouTube the success it is today.

Moon landing conspiracy theorist Bart Sibrel confronted Buzz Aldrin several years ago calling him a "liar" and "coward" because wouldn't admit that he faked his trip to the moon. Buzz gave him a clear answer to his charges.

Unfortunate Names
It can be easy to be so caught up in the craziness of planning a wedding that the little things get overlooked, like what order to hyphenate your name. Here are some folks who really should have taken an extra few minutes to proofread their wedding announcements.

From The Other Side
If you have ever seen Look Around You, the hilarious mock 80's era education program, you will enjoy these podcasts from two of it's stars, Peter Serafinowicz and Robert Popper. It's called Radio Spirit World and that's what it is, a radio program from the dead. Very funny stuff. Here's a link to open

Robot Geisha
What the heck is going on in Japan? They have spent all this time and money on a movie like "Robot Geisha" and didn't even bother to make it 3D.

Sarah Palin Gives Me The Creeps
Vice President Sara Palin. Oh my God, could you imagine? There is still a large group of republicans who still see a successful political future for her. There is also a growing number of insiders from her campaign who are starting to talk about Palin's lack of discipline and “narcissistic personality disorder” . When her son was born, Gov. Palin sent an email to family and friends announcing the birth of Trig and his diagnoses of downs syndrome. Rather than compose it in her own voice, she used God's. Check out the Vanity Fair Aricle, "It came from Wasilla", by Todd S.Purdum Good stuff.
Do it Yourself Bris - With Nail Clippers!
Ow, ow, ow, ow. How drunk do you have to be to attempt this?
Al Frankin Declared Winner In Minnesota Senate Race
It only took eight months for Norm Coleman to admit failure. We've got the magic 60 in the senate now, that is if the democrats can hold it together.
I do have a good feeling about Al Frankin. He's a stand up guy who I think will stick to his convictions even when his viewpoint isn't popular.

Very, Very Intense
About 30 years ago an artist named Mark Gormley recorded a song titled "Without You". Well, a cable access show called "The Uncharted Zone" invited him to shoot a video for the song. It is, "very , very intense".
